Are you a candidate for a nose job?
Rhinoplasty is by far the most challenging and complex cosmetic procedure of the entire body. If there is a breathing problem, it can be corrected at the same time. Our goal is to change your nose into a non operated look nose that is also in harmony with the rest of your face and even body. The best candidates for this surgery are those who are looking for improvement not for perfection.
What will you experience after a rhinoplasty
Usually you will feel little or no pain at all; you will experience nose congestion though. There may be lower eyelid bruising also. You don’t have to spend the night at the medical center, in fact a couple of hours after surgery you are allowed to go home with a small splint over your new nose (this you will have only for one week). No nasal packing is used.
Post op recommendations
Seven days after surgery you may go back to work or school, and may do all normal domestic activities at home.
You are strongly recommended not to have direct prolonged sun exposure during the first three months, if you need to expose for not very long periods you may use a cap or sun protection creams. Occasional short periods of sun exposure won’t cause any troubles though.
15 days after rhinoplasty you may go back to gym and have physical activities other than jumping or strong muscular activities. (E.g. spinning is allowed).
One month after surgery you may do all gym activities as well as swimming.
